Trip to the E.R.

This would be the proper way to use this machine.

I was right there and didn't catch her. Poor little girl. I felt SO BAD!!!

We took her to the E.R. and they used some E.R. superglue and sent us on our way.

Note to self: This machine is not a kids toy. Be more careful!!!!!

On another note. While Daddy, Grandma Carpenter, Hailey and I went to the E.R. Marky went with Uncle Nathan and had a great time. They got shave ice and rode the fire truck and he even took a nap. I really appreciated Nathan taking such good care of Marcus so we could give Hailey all of our attention. Marky says Nathan can babysit ANYTIME. He's still asking if we can go to Nathan's house. Thank you Nathan for stepping up and taking such good care of our Sweetheart.

We spent an afternoon playing at Lake Chelan with Uncle Nathan. He has "special access to the lake". We really enjoyed it. Thank you Nathan!!

Good Friends

I am grateful that Marcus has kids in the neighborhood to play with. Now if I could convince him that it would be fun to play at their houses. When he does go over to play he has fun. It just takes him a while to warm up to the idea. I would like to think he just loves spending time with me but lets face it- he just likes playing at home, it has nothing to do with me.

The hardest thing about spending time together is... Saying Goodbye :( And we missed Gram Marie this year. She was sick and not able to come to the reunion. We hope she'll be there next year.

We had one extra day in Utah and we decided to spend it at Lagoon. It was tons of fun!! What a great day with family!!

Lester Family Reunion 2009

We had our reunion in Utah at Reid's Ranch this year. There were many activities including horseback & pony riding, mini golf, archery, swimming, hiking, paddle boating, basketball, volleyball, ping pong, playing on the playground, and lets not forget eating, and enjoying the snack bar. I am sure I forgot some, but you get the point. We all had fun being together for the week. We really appreciate my Mom and Dad for putting all of it on and getting us all together. It is a week that we look forward to every year.

Some of our group took an early morning hike to get some fossils. They had a good time and ended up with WAY TOO MANY fossils (and yes we took them all home on the airplane, but that's another story!!)

One of Steve's big accomplishments this year was that he came to the reunion uninjured. Well kind of... Our last night there he took an elbow to the face in a basketball game. Luckily Curt fixed him up. Just a minor thing compared to what he has done in the past. We love you Steve-O!!!

All the kids know when Grandpa and Grandma Lester are around... They love spoiling the kido's with all kinds of candy and treats. I wonder if I can send them our dental bill :)

Welcome Baby Dean

Baby Dean is the newest member of the family. He is Holly and Clay's second child. We were so busy holding him that we didn't take many pictures. So here he is with his Mommy at about a week and a half old. We are so glad you guys came to the reunion. We love you!!

We enjoyed spending time at the park and just being together. It was a week of fun for everyone. Marky is still asking where his friends are at, and why he cant play with them everyday. He does have Alayna (who lives across the street) and when she comes over he thinks he decides how long she can stay. Most of the time he says "NO ALAYNA, YOU CAN'T GO HOME". Let's just day he loves his cousins.
