BUILD A BEAR

Marcus took his first trip to build a bear. He had a great time stuffing it, washing it, and picking out clothes. He decided to choose a bear and make it into a fireman like his Uncle Nathan. We even got to the shoes portion and we tried to have him pass them by. We almost made it until he saw the boots just like Uncle Nathan wears. Then it was pretty much over. There was no turning back, he had to have the boots. He named his bear Cocoa. He was very excited to make his special bear. If you press Cocoa's paw it says "I LOVE YOU". It's so sweet. It was worth every penny. What a fun day!!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!! 

Yes, I know I am a week late, but that's the way I do things around here.  Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's in our lives.  We love and appreciate you all so much.  This year we stayed at home and celebrated Aaron.  He is the best Dad I could ask for my children to have.  He adds so much excitement and adventure to their lives.  And mine as well (I just about have a panic attack every time I see them playing together).  The kids love it.  Everyday, when they hear that garage door opening they go running to see their Dad.  And if Daddy's hands are full and he passes them by to put his things on his desk,  the tears flow and oh my goodness you would think we just took away their favorite toy (Oh, thats right we did).  Needless to say, Dad is #1 around here.  Thank you Aaron for the Father you are to our children.  We love you!!!

Explination Of Our Name

So as I am new to the blogging world, and trying to figure all of this out. Please be patient!!! I told Aaron about our blog name and his response was "why". So here it is.... First of all I think we have a sweet life. After all, I married my high school sweetheart. Our 3 year old son thinks his name is Sweetheart, and his sister's name is Sweetie. And he's not afraid to tell you that is what you need to call him. We were sitting at the dinner table one night and I said something to him using his name (Marcus). He looked at me and said " who's Marcus?". This has been going on for month's now. We all love sweets (way too much). So there you have it. Life is sweet!!!
