1st Day of Preschool

Marcus and Alayna on their first day of preschool.  They were very excited to get started!!!

They are very excited to be doing school just like the big kids.  It's fun to teach them and see them just soak in all this new information.  

Helping Dad

Marcus got out his Bob the Builder tool belt and hat and they went to work.

He even showed some of the tools to Hailey.

Marcus was a big helper for Aaron when they decided to fix our couch. Someone sat on the back of it and the board inside cracked. So they went to work and fixed it. They even added more support and so it's better then new. I was pretty impressed. Aaron can fix just about anything. He is pretty handy to have around :)

Big Girl

Hailey likes to help with Daddy's tools. I do have to say she pretty cute doing it. She ADORES her Dad. When he comes home from work she hears his voice and goes running. She loves him so much. She is a very lucky girl to have such a good Dad.

Family Time

Every night before bed we have been having family time. We have a story, song, game, snack, and prayer. The kids really enjoy this and get very upset if we tell them there's not enough time for it. We are trying to make it more of a priority. Some of the favorite games are grandpa bear, hide & seek, find the objects, and memory. It's fun to see everyone enjoy being together. I love our family!!

1st day of school

Christopher is in Miss Duke's second/third grade class. He wasn't ready for summer to be over but he was excited to see all of his friends.

Oregon Coast

We took a quick trip to the coast for the weekend with Ben & Julie's family. We had a great time. A little colder then the beaches that I like (Maui) but it was fun to get together and watch the kids have so much fun.

Dentist

The trip to the dentist.... Just thinking about it makes me nervous. I hate going myself, I hate taking the kids, hate the noise of the drill, and hate the bad news. I pretty much hate everything about it. But we always go, every 6 months or sooner if we have a problem. But this trip wasn't too bad. Marcus is getting more use to it ( wish I would). He was a very obedient boy. I was very proud of him.

Christopher learned to ride by himself this year. He has been practicing and is getting really good at it. Way to go Christopher!!

The kids (little and big) love to ride motorcycles at Eric & Cassie's house. Hailey is still learning about taking turns and doesn't really understand why SHE has to get off. She cries for a few minutes and then realizes she will get the next turn.

Family Fun Center

We all had fun at the Family Fun Center in Wilsonville. It was a great afternoon.

Bug Time

We spent the afternoon at Bug Fest at the Nature Park. The kids had a good time. They were looking and touching the bugs. I stood back and watched and then quickly made them wash their hands. I hate bugs!!


Dristyn wasn't very excited to be there. I guess that's what happens when you are 14.

I want to be a Fireman just like my Uncle Nathan. I can't stop talking about it. I see firetrucks everyday and I know they all belong to Nathan. He is the best fireman I know!!
