New Bike

We finally (well we being Aaron) fixed Christopher's old bike and now Marcus has his own two wheeler. It's a black and green lizard bike. And it goes SUPER FAST. He's learning to ride it and has only had one accident. He only crashed because Aaron was pushing on his back to help him go and pushed him over. Just a little scratch, a band aid and he was ready to ride again. And I was just reminded that it has an awesome bell. So if you are in the neighborhood you might see him zooming by.....

Marky's OBSESSION

Marcus is OBSESSED with Aaron's forklift. He wants to ride it, see it, talk about it, and look at pictures of it. He even has a miniature forklift that he plays with at home. He loves it!!! And the sad part is the forklift is FOR SALE. Marky doesn't know just yet. I think he will have to have one more ride before someone (hopefully) buys it. But for now Marky loves his Daddy's forklift!!

Canby Train Ride

We took the ferry from Wilsonville to Canby. The kids were very excited about this part of the trip. Then we drove to some mini trains that Aaron found about a week before. We started by having a flavored honey stick snack. The favorites were cherry and root beer. Then we rode the train. It made two laps around the property. On the second lap, we stopped at their petting zoo which had a donkey, rabbits, and chickens. Then we went back to the station and had a cold drink. Christopher had a root beet float drink and Aaron and Marky shared an orange. Christopher is into collecting the bottle caps so he was very happy to see the "old school" drinks. He even wanted to get the bottle caps from other peoples drinks. However, I thought that was a bit much so he settled for ours. Then it was back to the ferry. It was a fun little trip on a sunny afternoon.

Walk to Haggen

One tradition the kids have with Grandma Carpenter (and pretty much anyone that will take them) is to walk up to Haggen to get doughnuts. The kids L.O.V.E. it. It has become a time of anticipation, excitement, and enjoyment that I think they will always remember. :)

Train Ride

Marcus was very excited about the train ride!!!

Marcus, Grandma, Hailey

Hailey had lots of fun.

Marcus was having some behavior issues so Grandma Carpenter sent him a nice card in the mail with some stickers to earn when he was good. He filled his card up with so many stickers. He even had extra stickers that he put on his clothes, walls, bathtub, table & chairs, couches, toys and even his sweet sisters head. The rest of the deal was that when Grandma came to our house she would take him somewhere SPECIAL. We went for a train ride at the zoo. We stopped at Washington Park and played at the playground. We had a little bit of time after the train to see just a few animals. It was a fun time. Great job earning so many stickers Marcus. We are very proud of you!!!
